Smart Multimedia Classroom

Multimedia classes are meant to teach students via audio-visual displays instead of mere books. The education initiatives by access to information project aim to make teaching and learning more effective and enjoyable for both students and teachers using ICT. To achieve this goal Hamdard Public College has established multimedia class room. It has started taking multimedia classes since 2019. During the lockdown session in the whole country HPC conducted its classes using Multimedia classroom. It opens up a new horizon in the domain of teaching and learning for teachers and students alike. Our multimedia classroom comes to life by linking up projector, laptop, internet, modem, speakers, screen and contents. Lectures are presented with the help of animations and video clips for making subjects easily comprehensible to pupils. For running this programme successfully, we have qualified and trained teachers alongside equipment. Our Trained teachers prepared class contents and then delivered those in the classrooms. HPC have 10 multimedia class rooms with multimedia projector in college section. We have also an ICT Lab with multimedia projector. It also uses as multimedia if needed. All multimedia classes are conducted by a weekly routine. We hope these multimedia class room will improve overall quality of education by promoting effective & participatory learning as well as eliminate unnecessary memorizing tendency. The use of multimedia is very important for students of different needs (regards to disabled students). In the classroom activities, the students are also rich in information technology.
