Founder’s Message

Hamdard Public College is established and run under the supervision and financial aid of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh and Hamdard Foundation. The College has made exemplary achievement over the years and is growing rapidly ensuring quality education for both urban and rural learners. Within few years of its establishment, it has achieved the reputation of being one of the best colleges of Dhaka Board in terms of HSC Result.

The highly qualified teachers of the college are always trying their best to create a group of visionary youths who will have adequate knowledge and skills to attend higher study both in the home and abroad. A major proportion of our previous students have already ensured their position in various universities both in home and abroad. We not only try to enrich our students with modern knowledge but also try to grow their sense of morality, patriotism and humanitarian philosophy.

The college has a spacious permanent campus situated at the heart of Dhaka City with adequate classrooms, labs, canteen, common room, a rich library etc. To engage students with co-curricular activities, the college has established several clubs like science club, business club, cultural club, language club etc. The environment of the college is suitable for the students to learn in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. It has two girls’ hostels and two boys’ hostels where students live in a secured environment and study with the intensive care of their teachers.

In this phase, I am pleased to appreciate the contribution of all entities including members of governing body, teachers, officials, staffs, students, guardians and well wishers who have contributed a lot to promote Hamdard Public College at this stage. I hope, everyone’s integrated efforts will make the path of this college more bright and comfortable.
